Don’t panic! Our Stain Spot Rescue Service might be the answer that you’re looking for. Utilising our specialised Prochem stain removing detergents and our portable stain spot-busting technology, we can attend (often at short notice) and help you out! Wine, coffee, tea spills, vomit or even toddler and pet ‘accidents’ can be remedied.
We recommend that you carry out the following initial action –
Scrape up any solids that form part of the stain. To prevent spreading the stain, always scrape from the outside towards the centre.
Absorb as much as the fluid as possible by using plain white absorbent material such as towelling, napkins, kitchen roll or even toilet roll.
Always blot the stain – scrubbing or rubbing will only impregnate it deeper into the carpet fibres.
Some cleaning agents can cause discolouration, bleaching or damage to the carpet – avoid the use of washing powder, washing-up liquid, household disinfectants or bleach.
Work on the stain from the outside, towards the centre.
The quicker the stain is tackled, the better the results.
